DIGG STUMBLEUPON DELICIOUS REDDIT
Have you ever wondered about all those Authority Websites? I was once told by a Great Marketer {Tellman Knudson} you need to be on every authority site out there.. This was a few years back and no I didn’t sign up on any authority sites, wish I knew then what I know now. So, in the last few months I’ve done a little researching on Authority Websites. Sites that you should be on that will help you in your business.
Most all of these sites have a profile page… This is important people, put a photo of yourself on your profile page. Make your profile look interesting, say something about yourself. What are your hobbies, what do you like to do in life. If you want more followers who will in time check your website, blog or links out …this needs to be done right! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve come across someones profile and nothing is there, but maybe an ad or some links. No photo or anything about them, makes you wonder if they have something to hide.. So, do yourself a favor and make your profile good. Be truthful!
- Digg is for people to discover and share content from all over the web. You can connect with others, and make some friends along the way. Finding information on Digg can be very interesting. The best Links found around the “Web” are shared– get exposure as the link is shared virally. Find an interesting link, post or page “Digg it” for it will be shared and quickly spread around the community. Digg those who follow you and in time they will Digg for you…
2. StumbleUpon is the easiest way to discover new and interesting web pages, photos and videos across the web. Tell them what your interest is and StumbleUpon will show you amazing web pages that you can Stumble. This is a favorite of mine.. Have fun, follow others and in return they will follow you. Stumble their likes and they will Stumble your likes..Share.
3. Delicious can help you find cool stuff and collect it for easy sharing. Share with others and they will share yours…Before you know it your links and pages will be shared all over.
4. Reddit is a social news website. Users have the option to submit links to content on the Internet that interest them. Now, don’t go wild and start spamming your links everywhere!
5. Dizzle is a Great Tool for driving Traffic to anything around the Web. It is a little different, users trade points for links. You can earn points from friends by sharing their links and in return you give points to your friends who share your links. Sounds confusing, but you’ll get the hang of it once you get started.
Your Dizzle network becomes more powerful as it grows. Connect with others and you can Drive Traffic to a site, article or anything around the Web..Let your Dizzle network work for you…get the word out now and have fun! Now, I wouldn’t really consider Dizzle as an authority site, but it is a site to get your links going..
This is just a few Authority Sites to start on… if you’re not on these sites, you need to get on them. If you’re already there, great! This is a great way to get those links back to your site. It’s also a great way to network with others. See whats out there, share and learn. Be good to others and they will be good to you. It’s alright to be “picky” on those you choose to follow, don’t just follow anyone check out their profile. Now, I know you can just put anything up on your profile and I’m telling you right now if you want to Make Money Online..have a business, be true to yourself and to others.
All of these Authority Sites are free to join and it takes a little time…so join one at a time. Pick one day out of the week for this.. I will add to this list for their are many more, for now have fun and start networking with others. Do not follow to many at one time, you could get banned for spamming. Each Authority site has rules and regulations make sure you read them and stay true to them..

I truly hope this is helpful to all..Authority Websites are a great way to get backlinks to your site. It does take a little time, but is well worth the time you put into it.

Thanks for the article Janice. I guess it is time to put that photo up. All things equal, photo or no photo, the majority will go with the photo. Also, gonna hit each one of those sites. Gonna start with digg, work with it for a few weeks then move on to the next. I found your blog over at My Traffic Multiplied.

Are there any wordpress plugins that will post a summary of your blog post on the authority sites?

Good to see you..As far as a plugin, I’m sure their is a plugin. I’ll have to
check that out & get back to you. I can tell you with StumbleUpon you
can upload your entire blog post(Article) and you can do that with your sharing
button or you can add a page threw your account, then you start sharing
your page with other Stumblers.. Hope that helps you out.
